Salmon with Dill Sauce for an Easy Dinner in 20 Minutes
Finding nutritious dinners that can be whipped up in 20 minutes and taste delicious are hard to find! That’s why this salmon with dill sauce is a mainstay on our meal plan and perfect for busy weeknights.

With farm and family life, I am always looking to add nourishing meals to our repertoire that can be made in under 30 minutes. When we stocked up on wild caught salmon fillets from Azure Standard, I began experimenting.
Plain baked salmon was good. Add some herbs, and it got even better. But then, the addition of a refreshing, herby sauce had everyone asking for more and licking their plates clean.
Ingredients in Salmon with Dill Sauce
Salmon Fillets – We always look for wild-caught salmon and have been loving these fillets from Azure Standard.
Sour Cream or Greek Yogurt – For a nice, thick sauce, it’s best to use either sour cream or Greek Yogurt. If you want a thinner sauce, similar to a ranch dressing, plain yogurt works well.

Avocado Oil Mayonnaise – We love to make our own mayo with this recipe, or Chosen Foods is a great brand for avocado oil mayonnaise.
Fresh or Dried Dill
Lemon Juice
Garlic Powder
Sea Salt & Pepper

How to Make Salmon with Dill Sauce
Begin by preheating your oven to 400°F (204° C). Lay your salmon fillets, skin side down, on a prepared pan and drizzle with olive oil and a sprinkle of salt.
Bake for 15 minutes, give or take, depending on the thickness of your fillets.
While the salmon is baking, gather the sauce ingredients.

Stir together the yogurt or sour cream, dill, lemon juice, garlic powder, and salt & pepper to taste.
Set aside until the salmon is finished baking.
Spoon the sauce on top of the salmon for the perfect pairing.
We love to serve this salmon with roasted vegetables or potatoes. It’s also delicious on top of a salad.
